In March, CNBC announced that the third annual Delivering Alpha Conference will be taking place in this summer in New York City. The even will take place at the Pierre on July 17, 2013.

Although the event has only been around since 2010, last year’s conference brought in many big names in business from areas of investors and hedge funds, politics and economic leaders. Speakers like U.S. Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner, KKR Co-Chairman and Co-CEO Henry Kravis, and Kynikos Associates President and Founder James Chanos shared with attendees their expertise—among many others.

The conference was created in order to bring industry leaders together in discussion about today’s global economy and challenges that investors face dealing with it. The event includes panel discussions and individual interviews with top journalists from CNBC and Institutional Investor moderating.

“In just two years, Delivering Alpha has become the premier investor event for a simple reason: it delivers. It delivers news and views that shape and move the markets,” said Nikhil Deogun, SVP and Editor in Chief, CNBC Business News.

Exclusive coverage of the Delivering Alpha conference will be featured on CNBC and CNBC.com. For those who are interested in learning more about the conference, registering, or donating, check out the Delivering Alpha website at www.deliveringalpha.com.
