Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill Sent Home on The Voice

Last night, The Voice results came in which sent home Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons from Team Adam. Both singers have an amazing voice and were expected to make it to the end. Blake Shelton commented several times that Sarah was one of his favorite singers ever, and Adam was sure he was going to win with her. What exactly happened?

On Monday’s show, Hill sang Will.i.am’s #thatPOWER and Simmons sang Goyte’s Somebody I Used to Know. Before Michael Jackson’s shocking death, Hill was scheduled to be his duet partner. She sang the lead on “Heal the World” during Jackson’s funeral, but didn’t want to take advantage of opportunities that were offered to her in the wake of his death. Simmons was a music student before starting on The Voice.

Team Usher’s Michelle Chamuel was the first to move on, followed by Team Blake’s Danielle Bradbery, Team Shakira’s Sasha Allen, Team Blake’s The Swon Brothers, Team Adam’s Amber Carrington and Team Blake’s Holly Tucker.

Adam Levine was even caught saying, “I hate this country” when his two singers were in the bottom three, which some views took the wrong way. What do you think of this week’s elimination?
